Nevadans?

And... a few more jokes. Yes you will see some groaners. If you don't understand why folks like to tell groaners then I'm sure I can't explain it to you. Hopefully there's something here for everyone!

How is it one careless match can start a forest fire, but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?

The shinbone is a device for finding furniture in a dark room.

With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine.

If 4 out of 5 people SUFFER from diarrhea... does that mean that one out of five people enjoy it?

A TV can insult your intelligence, but nothing rubs it in like a computer.

I really like the campfire one. We have a little firepit and it's so hard to get started with all the wind around here! I use like 20 matches every time.

These extra heat lamps are really coming in handy! The chicks don't need them anymore, and I have 3 now, so one is going into the greenhouse for this cold spell. I have Christmas lights on 24/7 in there for a little supplemental heat, and it sure looks cool at night! For a few days, I'll also toss a couple of blankets over the whole thing at night.

Right now it's 70 degrees inside and less than 50 degrees outside. The seedlings even greener. Tonight I think I'll bring some in the house and do more transplanting. Boy, does that get messy in the living room.

All of the chicks are stuck inside for a few days. They're not complaining too loudly, or even fighting so far. I hope they can last a few days of cabin fever.

And visitors are discouraged today. The pond is getting cleaned, and I asked my friend to save all the fish *ahem* "emulsion" for my garden. It's sitting in buckets in the garden, waiting for me to dilute it and use it on plants. I need to put lids on, because it smells just like you would imagine. Plus, Tater ate a couple of the fish that died during the cleaning. Well, died then sat in the sun, then got ate. And she barfed on about the only carpeted area in the house... other than the massage office, thank goodness! So yeah... no tea parties today. Sorry.

I like everything. I must be in a good mood. No kids, attempting to reclaim my house (cleaning) and eggs hatching. I'm making some microwave bread pudding in a few minutes and ride out this storm. We have a tornado watch! One of the things that has terrified me since I was a little girl in Oklahoma.

I have nightmares of tornados! And I've never been in one. Earthquakes, hurricanes, but no tornados.

Glad you're having such a good day!

I'm up-potting my pumpkin and spaghetti squash into solo cups today. Boy, do they grow fast!
