Nevadans?

Tolipgirl, the two little babies I have over in the garden coop at my house are from Lacy Blues. I'm very happy with them.

Just a couple quick pics illustrating the insanity of the beans I got from Sheryl. The greenbean pods that were 1" yesterday are 2" today. Tomorrow, Russ is getting green beans and hummus in his lunch tomorrow.
YUM!!! Garden-fresh green beans are the best!!!

Actually, the beans on the far left are storebought yardlong beans, grown only up to Sahara's waist. Next over, the lighter green, are storebought Kentucky Wonder green beans. And the ones that climb all the way to the top of the pavilion? Yeah, those are from Sheryl. The Kentucky Wonders only reach the top of that white net. Everything above them are Sheryl's.
I'm so glad you like them Missy!

Now, after bragging so much on these beans, you know you're gonna have to share, right? Are you planning on drying some to save? (hint hint)

Oh, I'm definitely drying some! I'm thinking the ones a couple feet out of my reach will be good candidates. And I'd love to share. Out of respect for Sheryl, whose husband's family brought them over from Italy generations ago, I'd like to get her approval first. You know, kind of like a secret recipe.

Thanks! :)

Aubrey I hope bedbug starts to thrive soon!

I got an email from the guy that I ordered the peachicks from and he is shipping them out tomorrow!!! I am soooo excited!

Pictures, please!!!

And speaking of babies, my frizzled cochin egg is still growing and kicking! It doesn't like the light shining into its egg. The other two don't look good, but they don't smell either. So I'm keeping them in the nest just to hedge my odds that, if another egg gets broken, it'll be one of them. 4 days left!

But if no chicks hatch, and anyone has any babies due within a week, I would love to adopt one. Sour has been good for 3 sets of eggs, so she deserves a baby.
