Nevadans?

Aww I wish but it was a Cochin egg not a polish egg :( I think it was the silver laced because they carry the gold laced gene. Kind of funny since I tried to give banana to the silver laced

Haha now you have me wondering!
lol No, let's not go there. It was the 70s.
(Don't know why this quote come up blank but Elizabeth is talking about the new coop changes)
Great design! The chickens will love that.

Wonder if my EE mom wonders why her kids have poofy heads

(I gave her Polish eggs to hatch).
Hahaha! What little CUTIES!!!

Banana Pants is a boy...

Heres some pics of him and his dinosaur feet and his beautiful gold lacing and his already bright pink comb!
Awww cute little boy.

Pam: Nope, no smartphones here. The price needs to go down a lot before I allow myself that luxury. Plus, if I lose my current phone, it's not an expensive replacement.

Aubrey: Lol of course he is! Now, if you thought he was the ugliest thing in the world and had no attachment, he'd probably turn out to be a girl.

10 eggs today!!! New record! That means 7 of the 9 older hens laid today, plus all 3 of the newly started pullets. Cacciatore's eggs have gone from medium to large, and are such a beautiful terracotta with a thick shell. I'm able to give eggs to both ladies on my "thanks for the love" list, plus keep tons for the family!!!

Pam, if any of your WCB turn out to be pullets, maybe somehow we can figure out how to get one to Reno?
I'm keeping WCB pullets for breeding but if I have some that don't make the cut because of too much black I'll let you know. The one in the picture is a really good prospect, along with a couple others. I have two that I noticed have brown feathers but are barred???? White Crested but barred. I need to get some wing pictures and figure out what I got. The closest I can figure is Crele or cuckoo. No barred parents so it's second generation...
