OKay well I just checked on her again and we had a poo! It was mostly bright yellow liquid but there were small chunks in it and i THINK those small chunks may have been made up entirely of worms. I honestly cant be certain though because i do not know how obvious roundworms are supposed to look. They were long skinny translucent things that were sort of rubbery and broke apart pretty easily. I hope that is a good sign that they are getting flushed.

I'm glad she appears to be getting better. I'm really holding out hope for her. You SHOULD feel for her... I went and looked at her pic on page 1 and she is a beauty!

I am so surprised about how I feel regarding my chickens. We started out in 4H, the kids wanted something to raise and cows were out of the question. Goats are too obnoxious. So we settled on show poultry... that's where it all started. Or should I say that's where it all ended! When I first got them, they were nice and I really liked them but it has grown so far beyond that in all these years since then. I can't imagine my life without my andalusians in particular and chickens in general!

Isnt it nuts?!? Last year I lost my very first hen ever and i sobbed like a freaking baby. Literally, it made me sick all day thinking about it and i would randomly burst into tears at work.
My entire first year of chicken keeping was a total breeze and I didnt lose any birds, no one got sick, things just went perfectly. Last year was rougher, but this year has just been the worst. So I am getting used to it. I am finding it easier if a newer bird passes but I cannot bear the thought of losing an original.
Its funny how they grab hold of our heartstrings.

Ok, anyone else notice the creepy links to adds that byc inserts into our posts now? something in my post yesterday became a link ad and in aubrey's, "weight loss" has become a link.

So it appears I had some adware sneak onto my computer that does "text enhance" so words on any website turn into hyperlinks and an ad pops up when you click on it. I deleted the extension that got into my google chrome and it seems to have fixed it.

Aubrey, If it looks like this and it's flat then it's tapeworm. Tapeworms falls apart all of the time.
