That was my advice too - only layer pellets, only clean water - no vinegar.

Once I asked a man who professionally showed birds what did he feed, thinking that he would have some special concoction - Layer feed. They have scientist put it together. I feed mine scraps, and scratch - but when a bird has a digestive issue going on, cut all that stuff out.

Thank you Mrs K, we will keep her on layers pellets. We were concerned because she wasn’t laying eggs and didn’t want a build up of calcium to cause further symptoms …. but as she isn’t digesting food properly anyway it’s the best bet.
