Never order "free" trials online and use a debit/credit card!

I fell for the scheme where you order the teeth whitener sample and pay $1.95 shipping. Well, I am out that plus about $200 more. I am hopefully going to get most of it back, we will see. They don't tell you that you have to cancel and send the product back to them within like 14 days or they sign you up for auto-ship and start charging your card. And they forwarded my info on to another company who send me more product I did not want, and charged my card for that product and some other program dealing with health? Anyway, stay clear everyone. There are many reports about this fraud but I did not read any of it until today. Came back from vacation with the kids to this mess. Just wanted to pass it on to friends.

Is it not illegal to charge your card without permission, especially since they also gave you details to another company.... boy ould I be hopping mad!........

hope you get this mess sorted urgently!... the audacity of these companies is beyond belief.....

yes it is, and to search the internet and see how many people have been taken by the same companies, it makes you even more mad. I had to cancel my card and have a new one issued. But i would rather do that than be out anymore money! It is not legal for them to forward my info on to another company, but I feel like they are all in it together. The same company, different names. At least from what I have read. If I wanted to pay that much I would have gone to my dentist for tooth whitening, lol.

wow. something like this happened to me, i googled the companyn After i had paid the $2. so i immediatly called the credit card company and turned off the card... i shoulda disputed the $2 too since i never recieved the product. thanks for bringing it to everyones attention!

Be careful ordering magazines with your card also. It allows them to automatically renew your subscription weather you want it or not. Hope everything works out for you.

Well, both companies are saying I will get my money back, minus shipping and stuff of course. And it may take 45 days. So I will be dealing with this for a while. But I learned a valuable lesson and after reading all the stuff online about all the others who have been taken for a lot more, I feel blessed! Please pass this on to all your friends and family. Tell them to google it, they will find lots of people like me who were scammed! Thanks for the support. I just don't want any of my chicken friends to fall for this, lol.

Wow! I just had that happen to me last Thursday! I ordered 2 trial products and my credit card company called me within 15 minutes asking if I had just made 6 purchases on my credit card! I immediately canceled the credit card and requested a new one. The credit card company had denied payment for the extra 4 attempted charges. I tried to find a phone number for the company I ordered the products from and could even find them as the name of the website is different than the product name. I had to have my son come over and look back in the computer history for me to find the correct websites. I was finally able to call the companies, who both denied any extra charges being made to my card. I tried to cancel the trial size products I ordered and both companies refused to cancel the trial product. They said they would cancel the monthly subscription for the product, but would NOT cancel the trial bottle with shipping charges. Even though it was less than 2 hours after I ordered the product!

I guess it is my fault, as it states in the 'Terms' that you are responsible for shipping charges even if you want to cancel. Unfortunately, (stupid me) did not READ the 'Terms', there was no box to click stating that I had read and agree with them either. I find out later from my conversation with the company that just my order serves as comfirmation that I have read and agree with the 'terms'.

I did the same thing with teeth whitening trial, I am also out about $100.00, I was soooooo mad at those people, I called them every name in the book and told them my attorney would be contacting them!

Well I got $59.95 put back on my card. I will NEVER to that again!! They tell you, you have 10 days to try it out, they charge your card in like 5 days.

. I don't put much on my card anymore because they just take money. People PC had been charging my card for 4 months $19.99. I haven't had People PC in years. Well after weeks of fighting with them, they finally found my old account from years ago, and said oh, sorry about that it was a mistake. These places are a joke. Just be careful, watch you account very close.
