Well Red went to Chicken Heaven by herself...before Hubby could get home from work! Probably easier on him since he was partial to her! So since we had a cremation in the burn barrel...Hubby dispatched of three bantam roos that had been way to hard on my hens and on ours and neighbors ears! One crowed constantly at odd hours daily!
I didnt feel any love loss over them!
I learned a great lesson about hatching eggs...you get too many roos! Next year I will add day old pullets and hope for less roos!
