Chickens need feathered companions. They don't do well alone. This bird looks like an escaped battery hen. She is a very lucky baby, that truck was on the way to slaughter for sure.

Hei Hei is from Moana. It simply means chicken. If we do get her a friend it will probably be named Chicken lol.

We had a cat named "Pokey" my son who was 3 at the time named her, later we learned "Popoki" is Hawaiian for cat. She lived to be 19. She was a stray kitten, and long haired. We were looking for a cat, but we had wanted a short hair, but she found us, and that was that.
