I am building a 6x4 chicken coop, a foot will be for 3 nesting boxes, are 3 nest boxes enough for 6 chickens? and is coop large enough too?

Plenty of nest boxes! They will likely only use one of them

3 nesting boxes is enough for six hens, the coop might be a little small but i'm not positive.

Hello and 3 is plenty for 6 chickens. You need about 1 box for every 3 hens. Coop space is a minimum of 4sq ft per hen so you are dot on that with your 6x4! Bigger is always better but that will be fine
