Welcome to BYC!

You can try checking your local craigslist for possibly a coop for sale near by. You can also check here in your states thread and chat with members in your area. Maybe they can locate one for you or help you in some way...

You might also check your local Home Depot or Lowes as they carry lots of wooden sheds that come as kits. They may even deliver them prebuilt. But you will have to check.

Good luck with finding a coop and if you have any other questions, feel free to ask. Welcome to our flock!

Hello :frow and Welcome To BYC! Check out Craigslist, Freecycle etc in your area for materials or things you could repurpose, check out your state thread https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/270925/find-your-states-thread if anyone in your area is selling an old coop ... One thing to check into is pallet coops, they can be as plain or fancy as you want, they are usually made from recycled wooden pallets you can often find for free, ie one thread on them https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/550804/pallet-chicken-coop-ideas

Thanks everone. Can you tell what kind of bantams my two smaller ones are? The lighter colored one has feathered feet.

If you are a carpenter, you can make one out of scrap wood. like pallets or old wood laying around. Sometimes lumberyards have some scrap wood they may give you if you ask. Make it so there are no drafts and you'll want to keep it dry inside. you can check out the coops section for ideas.
