Hi! I've been stalking for a while, enjoying everything I am learning, but now I feel the need to post. Yesterday we awoke to no power. It hadn't been out long, b/c the heater was still warm, but it was out. By the time I got the kids up and ready for school and called the power company I went out to check my eggs and the incubator was already at 67F. It was cold outside, like 39. I left them while I took the kids to school, praying the power would return. It didn't, I took the eggs out, wrapped them in a fleece blanket and brought them in and sat them in front of the gas heater. After a few hrs i decided to go to my parents house and I took my eggs with me, I put them on top of their heater vent with heating pads around them. I even blow dried them to warm the up. The power was back on around 11:30, so I came home and put them back in the incubator. I left them alone, only opening to turn, quickly 3 times until tonight. I HAD to candle, I couldn't wait. They look completely different to me, but I don't know if it is progression or death, b/c this is my first time. This is day 13. The ends are clear, I researched and found that the air cell is pretty large at this stage, so that explains that. i didn't see movement. I saw a little 3 days ago when I candled, mostly in the blood vessels, so embryo wiggles, not sure exactly what all the movements were. Tonight there is no movement and it looks like some of the blood vessels are fading, I wish I could get a good picture. Some of them have really dark spots like pools of blood towards the bottoms. Basically I just want to know is there hope and what should I look for in the next few days.
