My bator has a leak so I cannot fill the entire bottom like you are supposed to..what a mess to clean up. I put three little containers of water in it....I hope that helps. Thanks Foxystag, I appreciate it!! This is nerve racking.

I just got into chickens this spring and love them. My friend had an incubator and talked me in to bating my own. I'm officially addicted! I know everyone said to only candle at day 7 or whatever, however, I was so fascinated that I did it every night. This is an amazing process! So, today was supposed to be "lockdown" (day 18). Well to my surprise I looked in the bator tonight and saw this! Woot. I really don't think I will be able to sleep tonight!!!

so exciting!!!!! I love how they're so cute when there small!!!

Well, daddy is either a black sex link or a black Australorp and mommy is either a red sex link, gold sex link, black sex link, or RIR. I didn't know those breeds don't run true when hatching. Oh well, since I hatched them I will love them anyway!!
