New babies (pix now added)

I put 16 sizzle eggs, 2 polish, 2 cochins and 2 EE under my lavender Cochin hen.. They are hatching today, so far 3 sizzle chicks that I can see, I do not want to disturb her to much, but these little guys hatched sometime last night, they were dry and fluffy around 9 am this morning.. This is a first time momma, altho she hatched a few out last month, and I had a black hen that went broody and this hen stole her nest from her after she hatched her others.. I am going to let her raise them, she wants to be a momma so bad. But how funny looking is she going to look with her big lavender butt walking around with these tiny black sizzle chicks, LOL.

It is funny to watch a mom walk around with babies that just obviously are not hers. My 2 buff orps have 8 babies, all black, they must have been eggs stolen from my black giants, they are so cute!
