Hi. New chicken owner here. We have adult chickens we’ve had for about 3 months and got some 2 day old cheeks about 2 weeks ago.
All of the babies appear to be happy and healthy but ever since day 1 they’ve had runny poop. It isn’t all of the time and the chicks are happy healthy eating and drinking but every now and then I see one with watery brown poop. Not soft like a puddle of brown water. The hatchery said to give them ACV which we have been doing but it hasn’t helped.
I read somewhere that everg 8-10 poops a chicken has could be runny poop for a healthy digestive system but I am super confused since none of them act or seem sick yet we still have these runny poops.

I don’t use ACV at all, and it will not help baby chick’s poop. What are you feeding the chicks, and have they been in any area where the older birds have been? Do any look lethargic or puffed up or not eating? Coccidiosis can be a problem in the weeks to come. If you see any symptoms above or blood in poop, get some Corid and treat for coccidiosis.
