Nope he's going to be getting frozen pinkies because A) I have pet rats and seeing a baby rodent die by one of my other pets would make me sad and B) I don't want him to see movement as food, and in the far off future get bit because of it.

Cornelius is currently in a 10 gal tank with plenty of cover. He's so small he takes up about one millionth of the tank. And I have a 20 Gal Long tank also for when it's time for him to get the big kids home

Great! I have mice that I breed for my snakes, but I dont think I could do it with rats. We used to have pet rats and they were great. The mice just bite, so I dont like them too much, lol. I understand wanting to feed frozen for his safety as well. That is one reason I feed my frozen, its just easier to keep a few hundred mice in the freezer!

Cool Cool! I only have one in a tank, and the rest are in tubs. Its easier to use tubs because I can stack them. Im hoping to build a rack pretty soon. That's great though! Im really happy to see someone else who has chickens AND snakes! lol.

You should check out http://cornsnakes.com/forums/ , if you havent. Most of the people there are really helpful!

Oh no! ANOTHER animal forum! Can... Not... Resist!

I already love these litle guys and I have plans for when I get my own place to start breeding them, the stackable tubs sound nifty. I hate the tanks becuase they are hard to clean and are so heavy x.x

Yeah, they are addicting! I just might pair up my two adults soon, I dont know if I'll be able to resist! Yeah, the tubs are really simple. I've seen some breeders that just have a water bowl in their tubs, and I dont like that. I have water, hides, branches and fake plants in mine. Its nice to be able to stack them and just pop the top off when you need. With my tank, I have a sliding screen so I have to unclip it and take the lock off of it that my mom made me put on it. She doesnt want snakes loose in the house, lol.

Mine has the lock hole on the sliding screen also, my moms trying to talk me into putting a lock on it as well.

Yep, that was one of my mom's MANY conditions, lol. I dont even lock the lock, I just put it in there, but whatever makes her happy.

He's so cute! Im sticking with my first guess, he's an Amel. He's really bright! I have two Amels and they seem to be really crazy compared to my normals. Does he jump like crazy when you pick him up??
