New bantom babes. Unsure as to breeds, any ideas?

The white one is a hatchery quality silkie (doesn't have a crest), and the black and white ones are black langshan bantam x red pyle OEGB mixes. I'm guessing the black one (does it have a single comb?) is a black breasted red OEGB x black mottled OEGB, but I'm not sure, since it doesn't seem to have the OEGB size or body shape.

Is that some kind of weird silkie without a head poof? I want one :drool

Is the poof gonna grow once it gets older or will it look that way forever? So adorable. It weirds me out when you can't see the eyes, so that's the perfect silkie if you ask me.

Lol I have almost no idea when it comes to mixed breeds, they are very pretty though. I almost thought they were American games but I don’t think they come in bantam and then there’s the feathered legs.

I’ll guess that the dark one is a bbr OEGB dad with spangled mom.

The other two I’ll guess bbr oegb dad. For a breed with feathered legs to be show quality the legs would need to be somewhat heavily feathered unless they are a lighter feather footed breed like langshan or marans. I’ve read of bantam langshan existing but haven’t heard of bantam marans. So maybe the mom is a bantam black langshan? I feel like there should blue somewhere if the chicks are splash though? A blue red OEGB isn’t as rare as a blue langshan so I’ll change my guess to

Blue red OEGB dad and black langshan mom

Holy moly you're good!

The dark one is Spangled oegb over bbr. The other two are red Pyle oegb over blue bantam langshan!

ETA the dark ones legs are unusually long for whatever reason!

She's just hatchery quality, so isn't up to the breed standard.

I believe she is crestless and beardless. I got her in the bantam bin at TSC on a whimwbut decided not to keep her.

Wow! I didn't know blue bantam langshans or american game bantams existed. I thought they totally looked like red pyles except splash so I somehow ruled that out lol probably should've gone with the gut feelings but it's nice to know I got the breeds right, just off on some colors and reversed moms and dads. This was fun :)

I agree that silkies should be able to see even though they look cute extra poofed. But you can "tie" their poofs up, although I don't know if this is a good idea since they have vaulted skulls (my one silkie died from being pecked on the head) Here is a video:

My Herman is a hatchery silkie - blue splash, heavy on the splash. In fact, if it wasn't for the speckles, I'd call him a blue. He is also beardless and crestless with an absolutely massive walnut comb. He's also much too large for a silkie ... but we love him, anyway!
