Welcome! I have two barred rock ladies! They are very sweet. They have lots of down so they do fine in our winter's.
I have had the two hens for 3-4 years already. They are my top hens, anyone new has to go through them ,.

Hello and welcome to BYC We started with 5 barred rock day old chicks back in February, we lost one to a hawk. They lay almost daily since late May. They are very friendly and easy to manage.
