I just candled on day 14(today) and 5 of the 18 are questionable but the rest are great. I love seeing them move.

Two yolk eggs can hatch just fine with a little help, just look on you tube lot's of people have hatched them ^o^

I did read an artical step by step where a lady helped a double yoker hatch! So I will watch that egg closely !

! Can't believe we are down to out last week! New chicks!!!!

Just candled too, 4 more eggs are out of the incu next candle in 3 days on lock down

so sorry for your loss. i lost four last week to coyotes, too. it's heartbreaking! i feel like such a bad mother. Sometimes there isn't much more you can do, it's the circle of life.

Sorry for your loss....I also lost a total of 4 to the coyotes...they must pay! So chickens are locked up...and very unhappy! My boyfriend should have their new run up today! At least your rooster tried to protect the hens...our roosters run away! Our good rooster that did protect the hens was the first to go over a month ago..since the chickens have been at my house, about 6 weeks, we have lost 7 ( 6 hens and a rooster) to the coyotes.
