I would give them another day. I have 7 that have done nothing but I have had an egg pip in the last hour or so--and I am on day 22 too.

That gives me hope! I have 6 eggs on day 22 and nothing...I will wait until tomorrpw!

How is everyone doing? My hatch is over. I have a total of 10 hens and 19 roos! I lost one boy who wasn't fully developed. I candles the other 12 eggs and they weren't viable. My daughter and I have already grown so attached to two of our field and are really hoping my husband lets us keep them. They are so sweet! I'll post pictures when I'm on my computer (posting from my phone.)

My chicks have hatched.

I got 13 out of 16 so I feel real good about my first batch. I actually have one egg left in the bator but I'm not expecting anything as today is day 21 and it hasn't pipped. The little fuzzys are so cute and sweet. They already jump on my hand when I reach down into the brooder. The bantam foursome! The black chick in the middle is named "Dozer". Yellow puffballs. So cute!

My hatch is over. I have 1--kind of. #10 is iffy. Something is wrong with its leg. Swollen joint and it does not work. The other chicks abuse it so it was in a separate brooder where my dog got it. It did not seem to have any more damage from the dog incident but I am still not talking to my dog. So we will see what happens with #10. Love how soft and fluffy they are and compared to my almost 5 wk old chicks they are sooo tiny!

how do you know they are roo's? I would love to know on mine!

So does anyone still have eggs to hatch? Today I am getting 6 silkie hens and a rooster...between 1-2 years old! I received 16 silkie eggs in the mail yesterday from and auction off of BYC. So getting ready to load up the bator!..I also have Polish Crested eggs that I have been collecting! I ended up with 14 chicks...some new colors!

Exactly. They are sex-linked. Yellow are roos and orange are hens. They are all at their new home. All but one that we lost overnight. I heard a lot of peeping last night but couldn't figure out which one was crying. When I got up this am she was gone. I didn't tell my daughter because it was her favorite that died. Plus we had to freeze a deformed one the day before and she was still upset from that.
