new batch..join me!

Im new to hatching, but im in with my broody! I set them last night though, close enough right ha ha
2 mins later* I just set her on 2 eggs from today so im definately in!

I've become addicted to it. My brother-in-law stopped by earlier just to pick up a dog cage. I just put in 3 Minorca eggs into my home made bator today. I have never had chickens befre and am sooo excited. My 3 kids have them named already. Paul, Lil Pecker, and Phillip.
Like reading your threads...cant wait to candle. Now I wish I had built a bigger bator and gotten more eggs.

Welcome! Good luck on your babies! But tell your kids give them girls names..you want hens! They give you eggs!

I told them about the girl names... they just dont listen I dont know what im going to do with roosters. My neighbors are fine with hens, but a rooster will be a sure fire way for me to get busted by my HOA!

I have to look up Minorca's as I don't know what they are. Love the names the kids have given the chicks but what if they're girls???

You will become addicted and have to build a second bator - it's a given.
