WE HAVE A BABY!!! He hatched a bit ago and is still damp, there are a few other eggs rocking and pipped! I will post pics when I get home :)

Hi to All!
I am on day 15 my first hatch.
I am so excited and fearful too that i wont even get one.
Have tryed to religiously keep the humidity at about 40-45 and temps seems to stay at about 100 give or take .07 no matter what ido to lower it so just keep it there. Have had a few times my humidity has gone to 20 over night the last few weeks.I add water and its at 45 then why i dont know, 20 by morning. GUCK
.Hoping it will be ok for them as Ifeel like mother hens move around and change temps and humidity ,hoppefully ???
Icandled on days 7 & 10 and see a few eggs that look sort of classic like somebodys in there and a few i am not sure what i am seeing One had al ittle less dark than the others
.One icould see a redline but not sure if it was a bad red one or a vein as the eggs are brown. so it stayed too. One seemed more full than the rest on day10 so it stayed too .
I am praying for 2 babies to live anyway or one? out of 11 eggs (4 were not fertile) 7 in there now
They were shipped eggs and i havent heard a lot of good results on the shipped eggs hatching
So my aim is 2 chicks(hopfully).
I am getting more and more nervous. as lockdown approachs

Question on lock down....Do i lock down on morning of day 18 or on the end of day 18?.Or morning of day 19?
For all the other hatchs due the next few days..... Good Luck All!!!

Nature isnt perfect Roxanne so dont fret, my temps were wonky for the first few days until we worked out all the kinks , my humidity was at 38-57% the whole time, I bumped it to 70% a day or two ago---I have had several spikes up to 102.1 and a low of 96 but Im happy to say I have little babies in the bator freshly hatched! I used to worry so much but I finally just decided to let it be and control what I could and I have had great results :)

My eggs start rocking anywhere from day 18-21, just depends on the chick--- my smaller eggs rock sooner then my bigger eggs.

Terrible photo I took with my ipod but first to hatch is a little Buff colored Silkie! I have four others pipped as of now, one upside down so we'll see how that goes...

Napping after a hard hatching!
