i gave mine to my friend (the owner of the eggs) and i think i am done for this season but i will be here reading you and give help if i can

My eggs are on lockdown!... soooo excited!

Well i am dissapointed and dont know what happened

.Eggs due to hatch last Friday. Now its Sunday.... nothing.... no pip, no wiggle. 6 of 11 eggs looked viable at day 9...Day 18 they didnt look like they had grown any more than day 9.
Kept them in anyway and now its day 23...nothing. Kept my humidity at 42-45 (b/c some ppl said 50 some 40)Temp was 100.1 to 100.8 the whole hatch ocasionally 99.1 etc. Then set humidity to 65 since day 18.
I looked at them every hour from day 1.
Nothing bad happened but humidity went down a few nights to 20 when i got up
However it would go down fast so probably noty 20 for long...cant see that as being it..but who knows? All that went wrong the whole hatch.

Tomorrow i guess i will open one and see what i see in there. I used well water to add to the incubator wonder if it had bacteria that could have gone into the eggs.? However all look like they are formed the exact same size when candled not like one died and a week later another which iwould expect form a germ. .All the same at day 9 and day 18 too.Saw veins at day 9 though Brown eggs so didntsee much
So any thoughts?
I will try again in a couple weeks getting more eggs from a source that i dont have to get shipped to me but i really dont think it mattered as they were doing fine on day 9.

So sorry about your hatch.....I don't know why..sounds like you did everything right? I hope you find fertile eggs locally...and don't give up! You will get chicks and it will be worth it!

So sorry your eggs didn't hatch. Put those new eggs in and keep those fingers crossed. Surely, this time you will hatch out some little chickies.

Anyway, today is day 27 for my duck eggs and I had one hatch a few hours ago!

The other 9 have pipped externally and 2 are now working on the zip.

This is so darn exciting!
