Most of you know I recently bought two sex links from my breeder about 2 weeks or so ago.Well DW says one was in the nesting box bout 6:00pm when she left to pick me up at the bus stop.Well when we came back home,I went to go put feed in their troths,and I saw a dead chicken inside the run.It was one of the black sex links.
I took her corpse out and examined her to find out that an egg exploded inside her killing her in that brief spance of time.It was only like 30 minutes or so.
Im bumbed out,but also was creeped out.I made sure it wasnt some boogiecreature that did it.No boogie creatures around nor any signs. She was laying an egg and it might have been to big,bursted and then cut her to schribbons inside her. Poor baby.
