Thank you. That's exactly what I thought when I saw a blue partridge Brahma rooster for the first time online, magnificent.

Apparently, Bash believes Bonnie is ready to start laying again. He is reminding her what to do, or maybe he's saying "Quit freeloading and pop one out already!".

Gotta love those silly roosters. I've been frightened a time or too by that foreign looking hen in the box, only to realize it's a goofy rooster waiting on someone to be interested in what he's showing.

That's so cute. My boys spend a lot of time peering hopefully into the nest boxes.

Atlas will do that, too, on occasion. What was really funny was when big Suede would get into the filing cabinet nest box and turn his whole body around. How he did that, I'm not sure. He was wider than Bash, though shorter.

This isn't the file cabinet nest box. It was an exterior one on our original coop, but he still looks like a blue beached whale in there, LOL.
