Thank you. She really was beautiful and I was so fond of her. She was a wonderful head hen, very stern and never would stomach any monkey business from the others. I'm sure Cora will take over now. She would bully everyone except BJ even though, being Bash's daughter, she's the youngest. But even Cora is still 5 years old, not a spring chicken any longer.

Me too. I find myself being incredibly short with people. I was in bed all day Saturday with a migraine from the heat and dust I think.

I like it warm, but this summer has been a bit excessive! 70 or below is sweater weather as far as I'm concerned, lol

Oh, you Texans, LOL. I would be thrilled if temps were between 50* and 75* year round, forever and ever, Amen! Wherever that is, that's my perfect place, though growing food might be a bit of a challenge.
