Gosh he's handsomeI made a video of Bash today so you can see how elderly he really looks these days. I hope he gets to enjoy warm, dry weather this summer. Winter may not happen for him again in his lifetime, but he's done well to make 9 years old, having barely squeaked past Atlas as the oldest living large fowl rooster ever on this homestead.

Yes, he's the best of both, without a doubt. I refuse to keep aggressive roosters here; life's just too short to have to watch your back while doing chores. All of his sons were just as easygoing and pleasant to have around, I've heard from people who ended up with them over the years.He is very regal. It is great when a bird whether a cockerel or hen is very beautiful and very sweet at the same time! Doesn`t get much better IMO!
