Uhm, the crow can be passed on genetically.The problem with breeding for roosters who crow quietly or not at all is that roosters like that are extremely rare. Also, many of them have a quiet/nonexistent crow due to environmental factors rather than genetic ones, so the trait doesn’t pass on to their offspring.
I’m not talking about how the crow sounds. I’m saying that non-crowing roosters are usually not crowing due to environmental factors, not genetic ones.Uhm, the crow can be passed on genetically.
