I got the same one with the turner, i love it, all you need to is add water
i got it back month 1/2 ago, i just had 10 chicks hatch, it works great. 12 eggs were mailed to me from FL and 2 were mine, all but to eggs didn't hatch they never did any thing, i put that from the shipping

I just ordered one of these after a pretty disappointing hatch with my lg still air. I am wondering if you guys are using backup thermometer for it? Or does the one it comes with work very good? Love to hear your feedback.

It comes with one that is a little hard to see. We use a back up digital with hydrometer. It takes the place of one of the eggs.

I jusy got mine last week! I have 49 quail eggs in it! I love it, holds temps steady!

Not only does if hold temps steady, it holds humidity perfect if you bought the humidity pump with it.

Every single egg at lockdown hatched.

It's that good.

Where is a good port for a temperature probe?

I bought a "Spot Check" thermometer but I can't see a good place to drop the probe?

I am afraid of using the vent port because it looks like the probe will come in contact with the heating element?

I'm going to try to find a water wiggle to put my spot check in. It fluctuates too much just hanging near the eggs (?)
