New Bucket Feeders

Any way you can get a pic showing how you mounted the bucket to the pan? For some reason I just can't picture it in my mind

So that is why the feed is out on the floor, is that the lip isnt high enough cause I made something like that but I cut the bottom off of a 30 gallon plastic barrel and fastened it to the feed bucket and I have it hanging in the coop but they keep pulling all the feed out.

I have been making and using these bucket feeders for years and I just love them, I find they work the best than all other feeders I have used. They can't bill out the feed, it's easy to fill and keeps feed fresher longer, the feed flows well, I set mine on a block to prvent them from scratching straw into it.

No, I'm not sure what they call it there. I didn't expect them to have them but saw them out there once. They were in the garden section near the recycle bins and big outside trashcans.

here are my homemade feeder and waterer the feeders work alot better then the buckets i made those first and the chickens just waste alot by scratching it out. the waterers are just hard cause they end up pooping in them and you have to clean them almost everyday. so the waterers i made are poultry cups that are ment for cages but i screwed them into pieces of pvc and put a hose fitting on the end. i have two of them one in the coop and one in the run both hooked to a 15 gal tank mounted to the back of the coop.the waterers are always clean and the feeders keep them from being able to scratch the feed out.
