New butcher/processor in Upstate NY

Its a good way of culling them though, I know I couldn't do it myself. They would be good BBQ size lol

I'm thinking of doing game hen size with the batch I just got in. Its so hard to look at them like that (as food) right now because they are under a week old and still in that super cute stage.

Im posting here again to keep this at the top of my threads! Getting ready for Spring LOL...I want to bring like 25-30 birds there!!! :D

I've been using BerkshireView Farms in Hannacroix NY. She charges 2.75, and generally doesa good job. I've had a few problems, but none of them were as significant as the other 2 processors I've been to. I think it's particularly awesom that she's a woman.

That's the problem with Ny. It's way big

Its almost worth it to have the traveling one come!! I think they charge 3.50$ a bird but factor in gas...Im ahead by not driving an hour away...i get 20mpg..x 120 round trip...thats 25$ in gas..thats the extra $ per bird if they come to my house...its a no brainer!! IF I can find a traveling one!!,

Great to know, about 20-30 min from us... We have been raising meat birds and butchering them for the past 5 years. Im definatly sick of feathering, a wiz bang plucker would he nice.. Anyways my question was an address or pnone number and do they vacum seal?? I could vacuum my self but if its part of the cost I certainly wouldnt mind
