new button quail waterer

hi! i bought a new waterer (an ACTUAL waterer from tractor supply) for my button quails today to replace the one i had (it was a diy waterer that involved a watering nipple being screwed into a hole we drilled into a plastic bottle; it worked for a while but it began to leak and i couldnt fix it)

ive dipped a few of the chicks' beaks into the water to let them know its there, but i cant seem to catch them actually using it (minus uh..one of them). am i just missing it and they do know that there's water in it, or do i need to do something further to help them out?

EDIT: these chicks are 2-4 days old and the one that's drinking is one of the 4 day old chicks

did you put rocks/marbles in it? The shiny ones can attract them to it in addition to preventing them from drowning

ya i did! ive seen at least three of them drink from it now so hopefully theyre all catching on
