Sorry, been busy in `meat space'. Version of windows: At bottom left corner of screen is a START button (click it). In the list that appears should be an icon with RUN next to it (click it) A prompt window will appear with a space to enter text type in (msinfo32 (click OK). The first thing that hould show up for system: If it says service pack 1/2 then you will need to go to windows update (since you are dial-up this is best done before going to bed - will take hours and hours). If you are running xp service pack three then: Version of Internet Explorer: With explorer open, go to the HELP (click it). Scroll down to ABOUT (click it) this will bring up version (hopeful it is ver. 8). If it says version 6/7 then, again, windows update. Check Flash: Go down to the START button again. One of the icons will have CONTROL PANEL next to it (click it). If there is a Flash icon on the control panel (double click it) It SHOULD read EXACTLY like the version below (plugin & activex): (click on pic for full size image): If there is no icon/or file numbers are different then go to the ADD/REMOVE program icon and double click UNINSTALL Flash (both the player & Active X programs). Shut down and restart computer. Open IE and go to the website below: (Adobe screwed up Windows installer and fix is below): http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1043626?tstart=0 The first link under the heading DIRECT DOWNLOAD: ◦Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer) is the one to click on. This will open up a SAVE/RUN window on your screen. Go to the top right corner of your screen and use the quick&dirty method of shutting down IE (click the X.) Go back to the SAVE/RUN and press RUN. This will install the working version. When it finishes Shutdown/restart machine. Open up IE and click on TOOLS (scroll down list click on) INTERNET OPTIONS, then SECURITY (ACTIVE X Options should be checked thusly): This is what is working with WInXPSP3/IE8, here. (uploaded the above shots with IE8 under XPSP3/ simultaneously signed-in to BYC on Chrome, as well - to quickly link to images from album). Can PM (should be around this evening - late CDT).

Thanks Ivan I need to read through this several times now and try to do it. Apparently I now have the latest Flash and I believe I have Google Chrome on my computer. But Google Chrome wont let me sign up. It seems to think there is someone else using my email adress. Speant a lot of time on it today. Hopefully I can do this tonight so it can run overnight.

Mine still doesn't work, I can't view photos, just get images with jpg numbers, I tried blindly to download that and it states failed to upload..also, to add multiple images press and hold control key? I have no control key, its a tablet and it won't open that. Having no other problems with sending and receiving pics across the world...so now what?

I sent you a pm ivan3 with some issues. I was up till after 1 am trying to work on it.

It appears I do have Google Chrome on my computer now. In order to get the benefits of Google Chrome it says I must log in or create an account. It asks me for my current email adress and then spits back that someone is using that email adress. Yep I am. LOL Can't seem to argue with the computer though and it doesnt give me any options that will help.

Just wanted to report back that I installed Chrome and it is running much worse than Internet Explorer ever had. I could not even post writing because in chrome it won't put the "stuff" at the top of the reply box. I am back on IE and have uninstalled and installed Flash will try again.

Achickenwrangler#1 I hope you have better results than me.

Not really. If I could look at the pics instead of the image jpg file...it might work....but too slow in peak time...the other was slow to, but maybe 50% of the time the pic went through...I have found some other chicken forums though..this one is no longer interactive for me..
