New BYC Features & Updates - New Image Uploader - Social Media & Sharing Buttons

Update: Was suggested on here to get a newer Flash version. Had to uninstall the old one. After multiple links and much help( From a fellow BYCer) I no longer have any Flash player. Was also suggested I use Chrome on here. Installed that and runs slower than mollasses. Sent pms to admin and no response heard back yet

Man I am sorry to hear that! I was just about to do that today and got lost searching Samsung forums...thanks for sharing....I would have done the same thing and i just know if I haphazardously install something it will be hard to get rid of...no way back....I really don't think #A they know what's wrong #B they don't care if a few fall to the curb #C they don't plan on fixing the problem since only a few are affected. So ultimately its up to me to find the solution. Sorry about your fix.

#A We are trying to fix the problem. We are having difficulty doing so.
#B That is an incorrect assumption and very very untrue.
#C See #A

It appears that way Achickenwrangler#1. Now I know why other people have told me they don't bother to ask for help even though they can't post pictures either.
That is unhelpful.

Where are my images going - the ones I post in threads? They don't go into my personal albums - where are they?
Hmm. That's odd. They used to go into your album unless you chose it not to. I will see what I can find out.

We're very sorry to hear you are having problems with uploading images. Please do keep in mind that we are just as frustrated as you are and have spend countless hours trying to resolve these problems. Please see here: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/...-social-media-sharing-buttons/40#post_9409502

Regarding installing a new browser: We have hundreds of reports of people having a better experience on this forum (and most sites) using Chrome or Firefox, and sorry that was not the case with your computer. We are very confident that in 99.9% of the time moving off of IE to Chrome or Firefox will provide an overall better internet experience.

Regarding images in your default albums: This is a bug that is being worked on. The images are all still being stored, but not showing in the default albums. We'll keep you posted when this is fixed.

Thank you for the response and your concern. I had worked hours and hours since Thursday and not gotten anywhere. As per the "uhelpful comment" I had patienty waited for response for days but ,,,,,,,,This is the first I got.

Yup, and posting your questions and problems with the system in this section of the forum is the correct thing to do. As this is a free service, we don't employ customer support representatives like you might see with paid services (even then it's often hard to get support).

To provide help for our thousands of visitors and members for free, we make sure all of our support is done on the public forum. That way members can learn and help each other.
