Here's a good news update

I was just able to send a PM with an image- it's an image I've used here before, not sure if that is relevant.

Fire Tigeris thank you for the instructions on that. I had tried using photobucket last week but it wouldn't work for me. Glad it works now.

Tried to upload a photo to my 2012 file today -- tried one, then two, it chooses them from my computer but there is no "button" to click to proceed with the upload.

Uploaded a photo four days ago, worked well.

Now I can load my new pictures on photobucket and share.

Can you tell I am a little excited?

I must say the first try failed so people try again if it doesn't work right away. It is still a bit cumbersome because to me photobucket runs slow but hey?! I can post pictures!!!!!!!

One thing about photobucket is~~~~ I think with the posting of one picture it gives viewers access to my whole album?? I think I will stil try to shrink my photos and follow another link I got from ivan3

2 hours later I was so excited to share my 2012 pullets on the cochin thread and now I can't seem to get the correct link from photobucket.

I uploaded my pictures no problem. Then I got the link codes no problem. I first copied the direct code and tried to paste in url space for pictures. error wrong code. Then I went back and got the code for forums that has a url at beginning and end of it on photobucket tried to post picture on here and again error wrong code . Did this more than once each. Shut down computer and turned back on. too. I just do not understand how an old picture was easily uploaded with the code and now the new pictures are not. BTW I didn't have any problems loading them to photobucket though.

Now I know why the older picture posted. It was previously posted on this site before the changes were made. I have noticed that previously posted pictures sometimes work.

This is what is in the url box and then it writes something about this file does not appear to be a picture. So, something happened between then and now because I had posted it then and now I cannot. I guess I am going to hang it up for the day. Hope you can fimd some of this useful.

I think that's a tiny picture though- maybe the thumbnail?

Photobucket is down for maintenance- what a pain...

Wow . Huh? I copied and pasted to use url and I still get an error message. Huh.
