She isn't even standing on her own. She can't drink on her own....I am going to get a bowl of hot water to put in there with her though...thank you all so much for helping me (and her) out...it is so wonderful that we have such an amazing community we can fall back on when we need some help...please send your thoughts/prayers her way

I still have little hope for her

When her temp is up then try to get her to drink.

Do you have a incubator? If so you can put her in there at normal hatching temperature and humidity for your model incubator.

nope, no incubator

Though I am trying to simulate one by putting her in that small box w/ hot water and the heating pad

That should work, you will want the water to evaporate to create the humidity.

Well, I did everything I could think to do for her, but she just wasn't strong enough to make it...

You did a great job. Your a good Chicken Mama. I would call Meyers and file a complaint as soon as I could though.

I have been emailing back and forth with a rep from Meyers this whole time...It sounds bad to say it this way, but I wanted them to know I did everything in my power (and took their advice) to save her incase she didn't make it. I let them know about the other chick that still won't open one of it's eyes as well.

Sending hugs and luck to you and the rest of the chicks.

Shipping is really hard on these little ones. I lost two out of 10 last January within days of receiving them. I too worked with the hatchery and did everything I could to no avail. You did your very best! Sometimes there's just nothing more you can do... So sorry

Thanks guys
