Hi! Long-term lurker, new poster. I have a chick, about 4 days old, that hatched with her leg twisted behind her and curled toes. I did some reading, and gave her a hobble and shoes. Toes are much improved, and her leg isn't rotated behind her anymore, but she is holding it up and hopping around on her good leg. The hip/femur still seems to be jutting out to the side, and when I try to adjust it like it's suggested for Achilles' tendon problems, she peeps like crazy (I assume that's pain) but clearly nothing is snapping into place. She's otherwise healthy, so I really don't want to cull her unless it's the only option. Pics included to illustrate. What can I do to help her?

Very likely the result of a vitamin/mineral deficiency.

It is usually Vit E and/or selenium. I would get a vit/min mix to add to it's water, making sure it contains A, D, B and E and give it a couple of weeks on that. Maybe that might help it come along.
