Hello all,

I am a newbie in this chicken world. I am a country girl, & have been around chickens poultry my whole life. About 3 months ago, before a storm, during a high wind, a little white pullet showed up in my back yard. I watched her, and figured she would be on her way when she was ready. But she's still here. Her name is now Chika Dee Dee. I don't know a thing about feeding a chick. I've been giving her food scraps and bird seed. I don't know what kind of food to give her, she sleeps in a tree or in the corner of my garage. Sometimes she gets in the highway.

Lately it's been in the lower 20's & I worry about her freezing. I've been trying to find her a good home, but I'm getting attached to her!

I need advice! Please.
