new chick SO LOUD

This isn't about her learning, this is about her base instincts telling her that she is in danger because she is alone. If you cannot provide what she means for her well being that mane mean that it's time to rethink having her at this point 1st as getting another of her breed at the same time that you start your other chicks

x3 & it's gunna be a long few weeks for that little dude.:(

Well she most likely won't.. get used to the constant chirps. chickens are social creatures and it's not really fair to have her alone. Little thing cries because she's lonely.

X2 on all of that. You're going to have 46 chicks, 47 is a negligible difference. Having one more chick now won't increase your workload any. You don't need to get a bunch more chicks to keep her company, just one. And then, when the new chicks are older and can be integrated safely with her, if you really don't want the one chick you buy to keep her company until that can happen, you can sell it.

If you really can't possibly get one more chick, then it's better for her that you take her back where you got her like Grey Mare said. Otherwise you are dooming her to a very stressful, very lonely next several months.

I have had single bird hatches .....on those hatches that go terribly bad..... I have found a mirror helps but I try to give them to someone with chicks if possible. They will stand next to the mirror for hours on end.

oh man.... scrolling the kijiji ads now....
couldve just brought her two brothers home with her....
but too late for that now.

so one more chick will do the trick? within a 1 week difference?

Yep, one chick around her age will be fine.

What breed is she that they were able to know she was a pullet and the other two were cockerels at this young age? One of the autosexing breeds? Or is she a sex link? Just curious.

Youtube videos in the laptop depicting mother hens clucking and chicks chirping could also help a lot to reduce the stress in your bird; but is just a temporary measure until you get another chick and can fix the problem.
