Hi, This is my first time hatching šŸ£. This is my last egg to hatch. It has what looks like fresh blood spot on its rear.
It took a lot longer to hatch than the rest.
I actually thought it was a dud until it pipped yesterday morning.
In the picture you can see the bloody fluid that came out at hatch.
Its moving around and has been in a clean area now for a bit its not gushing blood,
The spot looks more like a clot.
Not sure if its membrane issue or what???
Should I do anything else ? What should I do?
I did remove the other dry chicks to a brooder, they were stepping on it and pecking it.

Not sure if i did something wrong šŸ˜ The first nine hatched easily. Just like the books say they should, lol.

The last five all struggled .

I candled at 17 days. Went into lockdown with 21 eggs out of 24.
I have 14 in brooder all in good shape and this little one.
