new chicken 3 years old no eggs???

So true nice all week then weekend comes and ugly ugly. Saly creek ahh waiting for spring so we can go somewhere anywhere. Its been a long long winter

She is doing fine with the littler chickens. So how can I fix her from being broody? There are no eggs in her coop

It may be possible that she "Adopts" the younger chicks and that will close the cycle for her.

Most people dont want a broody hen, because it will not lay eggs while broody. This also would explain why she is kind of mean. They get very protective when broody.

Good luck. Hopefully her change of location and new coop friends will change her pattern. Unless you want her to raise chicks - then she will probably be the best mother there is.

A broody will lay until she gets her clutch of eggs she wants
