New Chicken Coop

Hello! Welcome to BYC!! :frow

Is there any way to put a temporary barrier in the coop? Have they free ranged together or are they brand new to each other?

Feel free to check out the links below for some interesting reading.
They are brand new to each other. Only one of the flocks have a rooster. Not sure if it’s possible to put up a temporary barrier.

Good questions above!

Where in this world are you located?
Climate, and time of year, is almost always a factor.
Please add your general geographical location to your profile.
It's easy to do, (laptop version shown), then it's always there!

How old are the chickens in each group? How many? How big is the new coop in feet or meters? Is it attached to a secure run or do they free range? How big, in feet or meters, is the run? Photos, inside and out, can be very helpful. Are the females laying eggs?

If you don't have room to keep them separated this might get challenging or it might still be fairly easy. The more you can tell us about your specific situation the more likely we can come up with ideas that will help you.

Right now one flock is free ranging and the others are in a small pen. The coop will be finished this week and will have a run that is 8’ x16’. Both flocks are laying eggs.
