Hey all, I'm in Western PA and have a backyard flock of five. Hatched the eggs that some friends gave me, but they're unsure of who laid what.
What we know: their flock is mostly Jersey Giants and Golden Laced Wyandottes, however they have some that are clearly "other" as far as I can tell. Some they got through a poultry assortment. All of these are around 7-8 weeks old.
These two are clearly Wyandottes, but the one has a standard comb. I'm pretty sure he's a cockerel and the other a pullet. The "cockerel" has some shiny metallic feathers.
These two are where I get confused. I assumed both were JG but they're starting to look different and what looks to be the cockerel has a pea comb which JG shouldn't have.
Finally, here's General Tso and I don't even have an inkling what he is. A cockerel, I think, but as for the breed I'm all shoulders.
Thanks so much to those who reply, this is my first post here so sorry if the formatting is ugly.
