Hello fellow posters!
I am new to raising chickens, but my mother is not and had them previously. Very excited! We bought 6 chicks about a month ago. 2 Isa Browns, 2 California Whites, one confirmed silkie, one breed we were told was a silkie but she doesn’t look like it yet (i made a post asking her breed, check it out and lemme know if you recognize it!). My favorite aspects of raising them so far are just being able hang out with them and experiment in giving them new fruits/vegetables and seeing their personalities develop!
Other favorite hobbies of mine are baking and hanging out with my dogs. I’m currently in nursing school so really my animals and school take up all of my time! I found this website through doing general chicken research and found it to be a great resource! Looking forward to posting more here
