I just wanted to say thank you for such an informative and encouraging website. I am currently trying to get an ordinance passed in Rathdrum, Idaho allowing chickens within the city limits. I've had to go to the city council for this within the process. Thank you for the wealth of knowledge that you provide for those of us who are new to this adventure!

Thanks everyone for the encouragement! It's definitely going to take me awhile to figure out where they want all the posts put.

We just moved to a half acre in Rathdrum, and had plans to get chickens, but we just found out yesterday that it's not allowed. Let me know if we can help you with getting the ordinance.
