Hi, I live in pa and now own 17 chickens. I am not new to chickens but new to owning them. My grandmother had chickens and I use to love getting the eggs in the morning and watching them walk around and peck the ground. I always wanted to have them once I had the land and space I needed when I got married. Well now my wish has come true. I absolutely love my little chickens. They give me such joy to watch. I have found that this site is amazing for information and I find myself coming back often so I figured I would join. looking forward to learning more about my chics.

Hello and :welcome

So awesome that you finally got your chickens!! They are such a hoot to have. How old are they? They grow like lightning when they're younger, I try to take as many pictures as I can :lau

Don't hesitate to ask any questions you might have, and enjoy the site. :D

Aw, they're too cute! Congratulations on finally being able to get them! I'm in the same boat.... I had them as a kid and then just never lived in a place where I could have them. I moved to a rural area with two acres of land in February and ording chicks was one of the first things I did! They're so great and I'm loving being able to have them.... And I agree, this site is great for all kinds of info and feedback! Welcome!

Thanks! That's exactly what we did as well. We live out in Amish country near farms and woods on a little over an acre and a half. I love it!
