Yay, I'm so excited-I got some new chicks yesterday!

1 RIR and 1 Barred Rock- we named the RIR Betty Jane ( because she's a country farm girl) and we haven't picked a name for the barred rock yet- Pictures are being uploaded, now i just gotta figure out how to post them

Oh yeah, they will be getting 10 more friends in a few weeks- bantam cochins

Aww how cute!!! Good luck with the 2 + 10.... as chicken math goes it will soon be 30! Well that's how mine ended up. Started with 4, added 6, then 8 chicks, then 4 more pullets, and now have 25 chicks on the way....just happens so fast!
