So, this is my first post. I'm new to the chicken world. Actually up until my girl Rosé( a RIR) I was terrified of chickens. Anyhoo, I just got four new chicks(supposedly pullets) from TSC and I have confidently identified three out of four, but can't confidently identify the fourth. I think she is either a Sex-Link or Jersey or Astralorp. Not sure. I was so excited to get them that I forgot to write it down. At least I remembered the Maran and Brahma for the other three. She is the black/greyish one in the middle. I have included a picture of her feet cause Prof. Google said there is a specific foot color.

Welcome Kinn!

I’d have to say Australorp as I know jersey giant chicks have a white chest. Also are the marans cuckoo marans? This is because the other two black chicks have barring. Maybe post pictures of the legs of those other two black ones?

Edit: just looked up Australorp chicks and it seems like they have a white chest too. Maybe black sex link then?

I believe the other two black ones are Cuckoo Marans and the light colored one a Buff Brahma. The tubs were lables with just Maran and Brahma. Luna, the chick in question just isn't picture perfect for anything. It's a wait and see I guess. They are more for pets and eggs than anything else. So it doesn't matter too much what they look like. I'd just like as much breed info on them as possible, so I can give them the best care I can.

As far as I know at TSC they don’t sex chicks and the employees definitely can’t sex them.

By chance did the advertising say females or males? Did an employee do that neck hanging thing to them to sex them?

If no one knows, I'd suggest going back to TSC & see who they have that looks like your lovelies. You can write it down from there. Or Google pics. Or wait until they start coming into their adult feathers. (I'd be in the same boat!)

They had two tubs of pullets and one tub of straights. All four of my chicks are from the pullet tubs.
