Hatching
Hi all,
We're new to Backyard Chickens, but we have appreciated the wealth of knowledge and community found here, especially as first-time chicken owners.
Our coop and run -
Living in Portland, OR and couldn't resist two new chicks after having to rehome a very vocal Barred Rock Rooster named Codie at 13 weeks (still have two 13-week hens: a Buff Brahma named Butter and a Speckled Sussex named Scarlet).
We were hoping for some help identifying (and projecting final hen color and/or appearance) with this partridge/brown one we got: both were definitely mislabeled as "Ameraucanas" at the Urban Farm Store, but we took some chances on these two likely Easter Eggers.
The brown one is named Graham and the yellow one is named (Marshmallow) Puff, who does seem to have some Ameraucana-ish traits.
Thanks in advance!
Tim and Angela
