That was the only thing that had me puzzled was the comb! Let me take some pics of the whole group and see if you can pick out the OEs. 2 of them look just like the pic I posted, then there’s the white one, a black star and a brown leghorn that are obviously not OEs.Cute! The white one is beautiful and yes, I agree shes an EE.
The 2nd one... I don't know! She's got a straight comb. I wasn't expecting that. She looks like a pure Welsummer?
The OE on the bottom and the black star are my little friendly ones, always coming over to get picked up. I love them. Them and the BLH are the ones I’m sure the breed of. The BLH is so tiny just like my other BLHs were. Same exact comb too. The Welsummer looking ones don’t appear to have pea combs! It’s weird! Could they be OEs with straight combs?Tricky! The brown leghorn looks so much like the olive eggers /welsummer mixes. Do any of those have pea combs?
I do think that one with the orange head and dark body is one of your Eggers. Possibly OE.
The blue check marks are your EEs and the yellow is your black star.

Ah ha! #2 looks like she has a modified pea comb and a small beard so I'm now confident saying shes one of your OEs.Here are some closer/clearer pics of their combs. 1’s for sure looks single to me but I can’t tell on 2’s.
Sweet ok! Glad to hear about #2! I always keep your OEs in mind when I’m looking at mine. Do the pea combs take a little longer to take form? Or do they grow similar to the other combs. I was just thinking they would take a while to look different but if it’s a straight comb, it never will lolAh ha! #2 looks like she has a modified pea comb and a small beard so I'm now confident saying shes one of your OEs.
Yes, it is possible to have an OE with a straight comb! My OEs from Ideal all have pea combs but genetics with mixed are always hit or miss.
