Spongy is a girl?? I thought it was short for "Sponge Bob"

You can't know the gender of a chick until it is 5 to 6 weeks old and begins to crow or lay

Spongy just spongy lol. Well I can usually tell by their combs and their wattles as they get bigger. Or their feathering if its a rooster or a pullet. So far I've been able to sex most of my chicks as they grew before they crowed or laid their eggs.

yep Spongy is a girl for sure. I've had a few people say that she is a she. Not gonna get in a argument about how I can tell if its a pullet or if its a cockerel. Just posted some pictures that's all like everyone else does. Pretty bad ya can't post anything without someone getting upset over something so silly... Or pushing their opinion..
